TRANSCENDING—The new word for today.

Afterwhich I will be at the Badgley Mischka launch anyone want to come with, my gays are all indisposed and Gay men and women are the only ones who would appreciate Badgley Mischka Couture Eyewear. I'm An Inferior Designer with an Interior Complex.

and we're working on it.

I went to this new place last night, 11 South on the UES, Hot.
Ultra exclusive, evaluations are required for access. We ate, drank (non alcoholic beverages) had some laughs and met some new and very, very interesting people. All for a good cause—to support a friend. It was the best night out I've had in a long time, unfortunately I missed Dita's strip tease but I still had a good time filling me with a warm fuzzy feeling inside.

Tonight I’ll probably hit 11 South first for some after work hang time and then head over to the Gen Art Film Festival launch.

I love my friends, have safe good times.

People Can F'up A Wet Dream, Can't They?

The immortal words of Celli M. Pitt.

As usual I'm tired. After our visit with Mr. Basso, I decided I didn't want to go home quite yet so James and I went down to the Converse event at Xavier High School. It reminded me of a High School dance but instead of some nameless band playing top 40 hits the crowd was serenaded by the New York Dolls Glam Rock anthems, what a way to spend a Saturday night. Oops that was Thursday night. I Don’t Even Know the Days of The Week Anymore.

That's when he decided to get a dog and never hang out again. I say you go and find out for yourself what type of mayhem transpires here. I'll stop by next Tuesday when I'm feeling better.

Weekend Recap

It was a slow weekend. I basically was ensconced in titillating activities with my favorite person—ME— but Saturday night I ventured down to Milk & Honey to hang with my new favorite director Basia, along with her cousin, friend, and our always volatile James. 3.17.2006—I hate Friday Night—

Why, because I probably went out on Thursday night crept into bed somewhere between 2-3am and then went to work 9-5 on Friday and by the time I return home Friday evening I usually am unable to comprehend any audible sound besides my own breathing.

Last Night Vueve Cliquot Saved My Life.
I met up with Chris (aka Ding ding, aka Lalique) at the Vueve Cliquot sponsored Surface magazine party. After a quick bite at a falafel stand I went and met LJ for a beverage at Big Black Pussycat. I hate that area of town, but I went reluctantly so we could catch up before heading uptown to Pat M's St. Patty’s day party at Pacha. I bumped into old and made new friends and enemies. Juliana stopped by for some after class drinks, and then I had to make my exit because the Evil Empire I call my employer had work for me to do.

Tonight

I really don't like NYC on the weekends unless I am with a large group of my peeps so lets do the large posse thing and bum rush APT.

Because the guys aren't paying attention to you ladies.

I am trying to make an appearance tonight since I like Princess Superstars song Perfect. I don't know I'm not feeling radiant these days, I mean I radiate, despite how I feel, but the thrill is gone. 3.13.2006 —Slavery Sucks—

This weekend Erika, J-blow and I went to the Slavery in NY exhibit at the New York Historical Society. After being thoroughly depressed even J-blow sent out his Jewish condolences we could take no more and we swiftly exited the premises and moved our pity party to a movie theater and watched Dave Chappelles block party, which lifted our spirits. Upon leaving the theater we noticed Natalie Portman leaving also, I guess she likes supporting black film. I would just like to send salutations out to Douglas and Basia for the encouraging words of wisdom, when I sent out my slavery sucks S.O.S, their reply "Not for White people," I think Douglas’ people were enslaved for some time in Africa, but we won’t mention that. A Special power to the people greeting goes to Artie who had the best reply —Burn it down. Burn it down! — I love my friends.

I’ve added links to some really hysterical viewings, watch at your own risk. Take a look at the especially funny short trailer for Basia’s film Manga Magic staring her husband Douglas; you guys have a lot of time on your hands and the costume is great, scary but great.

3.10.2006 —OUCH, MY LIFE HURTS—

Maybe that is the reason why I was home sleeping for the past two days.

I don't understand the turn of last nights e
vents, after Taters show was canceled, I called the only party girl I know LJ and of course after work drinks turn into me at a Blondie DVD party with Lara and I hanging with photog, Patrick McMullen’s cute assistant. All of this in the midst of Moby, Debbie Harry, Ron Jeremy and b-52's front man Fred Schneider. I think we went to the events on yesterdays list and then Lara got the skinny on the Blondie event in Tribeca, I think we were in Tribeca —think being the operative word in this paragraph since I ingested a lot of free drinks so things like details might be off slightly.

3.10.2006

3.7.2006—Because you were Ready—

Sherese did a slam dunk last night in picking Butter for after work birthday drinks, appetizers and desert. The sinful cheese balls, grilled cheese pannini, and Donuts with white chocolate dipping sauce. I even tasted the new Frida Kahlo tequila-wonderful.
Even though the evening was low key, we as usual had a very good time. Tonight is another night in the NYC, and there is always something to do, wether or not I will be doing anything, I don’t know we’ll see where the night takes me.

No Rest for the Wicked- Weekend Re-Cap

Friday
I want to send grand salutations and thanks to Bruce and Vanessa for spending quality time with me Friday. —I hate the term shout out— To Bruce for 1. exposing me to yet another artist Samuel Palmer -the comet- hot, while at the Met and for 2. helping me try and sneak into the Lichtenstein permanent collection at the Guggenheim before we danced our ass’ off.
To Vanessa for 1. holding down our stash of Tequila in her jacket pocket, and 2. for scoring the red wristbands for the free beer --love you to pieces and last but not least to Lara for making an incognito appearance.

Saturday
Another Salutation to Nancy for being born so we could have a reason to celebrate at a new Cuban restaurant Mojito Loco in Brooklyn. Then we cabed it over to dance at Black Betty, I love a place where a shot of Patron is only $6 and good danceable music is playing the soundtrack to my life.

Sunday
Sojo and lime beat productions crew threw a Listening party for their Radio Soap opera -Moment to Moment-Hysterical. While Sojourner and Thomas cracked me up, Sherese and Randy picked up the pieces. Congrats on the XM satellite radio interest in your project. Then we tuned in as 36 Mafia took home an Oscar for the song 'Hard Out Here for a Pimp— apparently not that hard.

Since I will be at Nancy's birthday celebration part deux @ Butter after work this evening, I don't think I will be doing anything else, but if you wanna go out, I hear there are things going on like.

I am going to the museums after work today since I didn’t go last weekend.
I will finally get to see the Rauschenberg bird at the MET and then make an appearance at the Guggenheim to dance at the Flavorpill party. Yes, its $20 you cheap bastards but I’d rather give money to the Guggenheim to support art than to some shady club owner any day.
Then I will be in Bushwick for Massi’ B-day sushi celebration hosted by the true Czech Bohemian master of all things lavishly decadent, Radim— I hope there’s absinthe.

You know I normally stay in Brooklyn because I don’t want to be seen anywhere near the B&T crew, but If you must be in NYC heres a thing or two to do.

SHIT ON MY RADAR

I Love Pig Radio. Is it possible to be in a relationship with a radio station. We’re spending large blocks of time together, and it’s introducing me to its friends whom are talented musicians with fabulous songs. Its expanding my world, but I think its cheating on me with others, I don’t mind, our relationship is special and here is the website.
http://www.pigradio.com

GBH.tv
Another favorite of mine because they show interesting music videos for free. Unlike this TV station that I heard of um what’s the name (MTV) that supposedly does the same thing. They also have events with open bars. Ding ding ding jackpot. Currently their hosting the first ever online Music Video Festival go to http://www.GBH.tv for more info.

OK I love Juliana Mardones, my soon to be lawyer and financier.
All I have to say is Caligula, go to the biennial, the exhibits are spectacular. My favorites are the obituaries of famous people whom haven't quite crossed over yet, but might act like their dead and of course the star studded movie trailer for Caligula-hilarious.

I'm afraid that I might be staying home since there is a snowstorm brewing. I know you wouldn't want me to get frostbite, being the sprinkle of brown sugar in your lives making it the sweeter.

Heres what's going on that might be worthy of your presence.
